Email Marketing Price Comparison

No one wants to pay too much for their email marketing provider. With all of the beautiful form builders and split testing features, sometimes email marketing pricing is the last thing we consider.

But prices for these products aren’t like buying a pair of sunglasses. That’s because the price varies as your list grows. And while some providers may be cheaper (or free) when your list is small, those prices may skyrocket as you grow.

Often though, your email marketing will be the most efficient marketing program. So what’s a few extra dollars for something you like and works well for you?

Email Marketing Pricing

We did the work for you! In the table below, we have each provider we review and the monthly cost by how large your list is. Most providers offer discounts for annual plans, so you could pay less than what’s in the table. And some providers have additional discounts. Like, Mail Chimp. They will discount your plan price 10% if you turn on two-step authentication.

  • Even if companies don’t offer free plans, most offer free 30-day trials to try out the service.
  • MailChimp offers a 10% off discount if you enable two-step authentication. You’ll save money, and your account will be more secure.
  • GetResponse offs a 50% off lifetime discount if you are a non-profit.

Cheapest Email Service Providers

We looked at pricing across many companies. MailerLite appeared to be a consistently cheaper option. Email service providers vary their prices by list size. MailChimp (read our MailChimp review) may be free for lists under 2,000 subscribers, but GetResponse (read our GetResponse review) is cheaper than MailChimp if your list is only 2,500 subscribers. And if you’re list is 10,000 subscribers, AWeber (read our AWeber review) is cheaper.

The good thing about email marketing is that a bigger list will usually bring in more revenue for you. We’ve never lost money with email marketing. So, pick a service you like and focus on growth.
